This is my first post of the year and it's May already!  Anyway, the Yahoo/Microsoft deal (or lack of it) has been in the news all week.  It's like CNBC stopped caring about the price of oil for 24 hours, but then it hit $120 and has been the top story ever since.  Then there is the camp that says Microsoft is doomed because offline operating systems are now irrelevant and Yahoo is their only way to stay alive.  I think that's a little premature, considering Yahoo can't actually make any money, but I suppose time will tell.
