John T. Reed, a real estate investing author, has compiled a list of important things to remember if you're going to own a convertible.  While the list probably isn't new, or short, I've posted some of my favorite reminders below:

- Do not use the windshield washer or headlight washer when the top is down.

- If you are in the habit of giving other drivers the finger, lose that habit when you have the top down on a hard-top convertible and completely if you have a rag top.

- Put the top up and close all the windows and trunk tight before your go through a car wash. (Does anyone really make this mistake?!  If so, I want to see it on YouTube.)

- Do not turn on the rear window defogger when the top is down and the rear window is in the trunk.

Congratulations to Mike Arrington!  It's been said that you haven't truly lived until you've moved the stock market, and with Yahoo's intraday spike today, Mike must be feeling a new and previously unexperienced sense of accomplishment.

All joking aside, the comments section of the market moving story includes everything from random web visitors attempting to discredit Mike, to someone personally thanking him for manipulating the market.

What's all this add up to?  More publicity for TechCruch, of course!  I personally saw CNBC give them a mention live on air, so I suppose they win whether their sources are credible or not.
